Neem has been used extensively in Ayurvedic, homoeopathic, and folk traditions for thousands of years. All parts of the neem tree - its leaves, flowers, seeds, fruits, roots and bark - are highly regarded in Ayurvedic tradition. The stem bark is bitter, as are the root bark and young fruits. Neem flowers are used for relief of occasional indigestion, and its berries support gastrointestinal function.
